Tectonic
ICHK’s award-winning arts team has worked its magic again, leaving audiences spellbound with its amazing production of Tectonic.
With a cast and crew of 120 students, the show was a thrilling adventure, set in a near-future reality where the Earth’s plates have violently split, dividing the world into four elemental zones: Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water.
Through ensemble physical theatre and multimedia storytelling, the play explored the lives of those left behind, their resilience in rebuilding, and their search for connection.
Audiences were plunged into a visceral, immersive experience, with 56 stunning video projections and 26 unforgettable songs.
Every person involved made the show shine, from the amazing makeup artists to the dedicated prop makers and set designers. The commitment and energy of the cast brought the Arts department’s vision to life and, together, they created magic on the stage.
The sets, choral work, props, monologues and choreography were all flawless and parents, staff and friends of the school were left amazed by the production, which was likened to a piece of professional theatre.
Rehearsing and performing in a school production requires an incredible amount of time, focus and teamwork, and our students put a huge amount of hard work, dedication and creativity into bringing the production to life.
Congratulations to our talented students and staff for creating another enchanting masterpiece.
